What is Recovery Training?

Alignment Technique Mastery

Battling forces is a daily task to the human body. Sedentary lifestyles, overused movements, fluke accidents, and sports injuries leave the body in a compressed state. The body heals in the path of least resistance and can heal improperly.

Alignment based training focuses on great foot pressure, posture, and conscious movement which helps the body regenerate.

Training drastically improves neurological communication, energy metabolism, disease prevention, tissue remodeling of both hard and soft tissue (increases in capillary density, bone density, muscle mass, all fascia changes), and increased athleticism. Changing alignment is real, practice and learn.

Tension Reduction

Lifestyles add up. Your body lives in the present and is achieved by the past. How many days stack up before you release tension. The longer you sit, the more fixed you get.

You can see that in people who have worked desks their whole lives, you can feel that after couch life on a sat, and you notice it as you move.

Lengthen the fascia, decompress the bones, release overactive muscles, activate underactive muscles, and be like dog. Dogs and all animals who lay around for hours stretch all day. Periodically throughout the day, release your compression.

Sports Specific Training

3 principles rule movement.

Neurological specificity - the mastery of coordination specific to skill.

Mechanical specificity - the building blocks to muscle fiber function. The athletic differences of fast - twitch and slow - twitch muscles.

Metabolic specificity - the specific type of energy used to orient endurance, VO2 max, long sprints, short sprints, strength, and power.

Time X intensity +/- recovery = metabolic need, muscle fiber type development, and breakdown of technique

Running does not make you a better swimmer, baseball does not make you a better football player, and the world's strongest man is not the world's fastest man. Training has particular energy needs, skills require particular movements, and techniques require unique mastery.
